Coffee, tea, and fresh oatcakes (baked daily) are available in the Observation Deck Lounge for early risers to enjoy, perhaps while taking a stroll through the trails or in our lakeshore gazebo.
Our restaurant is named after John Alexander Douglas McCurdy, close associate of Alexander Graham Bell. Learn more about the story of McCurdy's and the first powered flight in the British Empire.
Join us for breakfast and dinner in McCurdy's Dining Room, or dine in a more casual atmosphere in the Observation Deck Lounge, while enjoying the views around you.

7:00 to 10:00 a.m.Start your day in McCurdy's Dining Room. A full à la carte breakfast menu as well as a full breakfast buffet are served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The breakfast buffet is $12.99 per person, and half price for children 12 and under.

Cape Breton Picnic Lunch
(advance notice required)If you're planning a day of sightseeing, or simply want to relax and enjoy the Silver Dart property, we'll be happy to pack a picnic lunch for you. Just ask our Guest Services Representative at the front desk. Advanced notice is required. Each boxed lunch is $10.99.

McCurdy's Dining Room

McCurdy's evening menu features unique à la carte recipes from the land and the sea. Our popular "Taste of Nova Scotia" buffet includes appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. A terrific value at only $26.99 per person and half price for children 12 and under.

During the summer months, join us nightly in McCurdy’s Dining Room for live Celtic music, as you savour your meal and admire the view of the Bras d’Or Lakes.
The Observation Deck Lounge is also a great spot to relax and enjoy a late afternoon drink after sightseeing or a game of golf. Or stop by for a nightcap before you retire for the evening. Our bartenders are always happy to socialize with you and provide information on how to discover the many hidden gems in the area.
